1.4404 Tubes and Other Common Steel Grades

One of the most sought-after materials in our range is 1.4404 tube (also known as AISI 316L). It is a stainless steel tube that combines good weldability, high toughness and excellent resistance to acids and chlorides. Grades 1.4301 and 1.4401 are also available in our extensive stock range.

Welded Tubes and Longitudinally Welded Tubes

For many applications, welded stainless steel tubes are the best choice. We offer longitudinally welded tubes in various dimensions and with specified tolerances. These tubes are available hard or annealed in coils. For special requirements, we can also offer bright-annealed options.

Welded acid-resistant tubes are supplied in standard lengths, most commonly in 2- and 3-metre lengths, with some available in lengths of up to 4.5–5 metres, as well as annealed in 100-metre coils. If required, tubes can be cut to custom lengths.
